Dancehall Gone To Far
Dancehall has always been popular to many different cultures from since the 80z and 90z we have all jammed to popular tunes and enjoyed ourselves back in those days at least. Now its all about who dances more like a stripper who has less clothes and who can have the best dry sex on the dance floor. The new generation of dancehall has taken it to a level that is very unattractive . We have been on international tv so many times and 90% of the times it was for something that we are not or at least were not all about!!! Dancehall isn’t all about skinning out and it is most defiantly not all about having dry intercourse on the floor.
We have to take the time to sit down and ask ourselves why has dancehall come to this level why do Americans get the wrong information about dancehall? Why isn’t our culture accepted by most ? why are people removing themself from the scene ? here is your answer BECAUSE DANCEHALL TURNED INTO AH WHOLE HEEPA PASSA PASSA AND FUCKERY! Every second you turn your back someone is raeing about a dancer whom they cant even approach yet they can go to a site and talk buree foolishness then come into a party and smile like we are in land of the pink guppies. Every second you have a dancer yelling about how someone stole their dance move now correct me if i am wrong but that is just plain out pathetic and childish a dance move isn’t labeled as a brand on anyone head and is free for anyone to use.
And for the newcomers into the dancehall scene who are not from a “Jamaican” culture you do not have to pretend to be something you are not dancehall accepts and welcomes every race but stop trying to fit in bye forcing yourself to speak the language it sounds horrible the fact that you are a different race makes you stand out and shows that you are joining something you love and admire but don’t take it upon yourself to make a fool of you and you alone by trying to speak the language .
Now for those who say Dancehall is messed up and rae rae rae you have to keep in mind dancehall is the name of a community a culture just like how America has its name and has people living in it that is exactly how dancehall is so put 2 and 2 together dancehall isnt the one that is fucked up dancehall isnt the one that caused itself to get a bad name it is the people who made it turn out that way . Now everytime we look at tv and see something pop up about dancehall it’s never good its always putting us at our worst it always shows us at our worst and because of how others represent themselves in dancehall all of us are “JUDGED” by what the rest have done. No i am not perfect nor is anyone for that matter but sometimes it takes time for us to learn and im pretty sure is Father Bogle was alive he would be ashamed to see what the culture has turned into.
Now dancehall is seen as “dramatic , violent and completely 100% sexual based”
So ask yourself this question who really is fucked up ? Dancehall or the new generation of dancehall
